    Getting Tickets to the 20 Year Celebration

    As many of you know, this is an exciting time for Gateway, as this year we’re celebrating our 20th Anniversary! On September 23rd, we’ll be canceling our regular services and having a huge 20 Year Celebration at the Cedar Park Center. We’re can’t wait to celebrate all that God has done through Gateway, life by life. To help offset some of the cost of the celebration, tickets to the event will be $5, and will be available for purchase THIS SUNDAY at all of our campuses. You can also buy tickets online here at lifebylife.gatewaychurch.com, but online ticket sales do include fees, so the best place to get them is at the Gateway campus near you. Make sure you snag them this weekend!

    Why is Gateway charging for tickets?
        Your ticket price will benefit the Hope Clinic which provides healthcare to refugees, the homeless, and those living in poverty right here in greater-Austin. Together, each of us giving $5 per ticket will make a huge difference in the lives of those in need living right here among us as (http://www.getupproject.org/).  
    How do people get tickets?
      People will be able to purchase tickets for $5 each here at lifebylife.gatewaychurch.com. Please note that there will be third-party credit card and online fees for purchasing online.
    What if I can't pay for tickets for me/my family?
    We would never want someone to not attend because they cannot afford it. So, if money is an issue, people can contact us at gatewayevents@gatewaychurch.com to arrange for tickets.
    What options are there for children?
    The event will be best suited for children elementary age and up.  There will be a pre-show that will be fun and engaging for kids and adults. We are working out arrangements with drop-in childcare locations around town.  
    Will I be charged for parking at the H-E-B Center?
    No. Gateway is covering the cost for parking. 
    What's the schedule for the 20 Year Celebration?
    Here’s the tentative schedule for Sept 23.  Please remember, adjustments and fine tuning could still be made:
    • 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Doors Open and Entertainment by Circus Picnic begins
    • 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. — Pre-show with Q Brothers
    • 5:00 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. — Main Event
    • 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — After Party with music and local Austin bands
       
    When does the "actual event" start?
      The main production will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. The pre and post shows are optional but will be fun, and people won’t want to miss them. The pre-show will be particularly fun for the younger crowds.
    Will we stream the event online?
    We are planning on streaming the event a couple of weeks after Sept 23rd for those around the world who weren’t able to be with us in Austin. Date and time TBD.
    Will there be food available?
    The concessions will be open throughout the night for people to purchase dinner and snacks.
    Will our volunteers need to serve?
    Yes, but not as many. More information about this will be shared through your campus services ministry lead.
    Will tickets have assigned seating?
    It will be first-come, first-serve general admission seating.
    Will there be services for the hearing impaired?
    There will be an ASL interpreter during the event.
    Can snacks be brought in?
    Outside food and beverage containers are prohibited with the exception of guests with medical conditions or small children. Small snacks and bottled water are permitted in those instances and are subject to security approval.  The full concessions will be available for purchase just like any other event at the H-E-B Center.
    Why is the 20 Year Celebration at the H-E-B Center and not centrally-located?
    After evaluating the cost and availability of several venues and the available parking at each of them, we determined the H-E-B Center was the best option.
    Will people be able to purchase tickets at the door on the day of the event?
    Yes, as long as tickets are not sold out, there will be tickets available for purchase at the door on September 23rd.
    Is there any other place people can buy tickets without added fees (other than at Gateway campuses on August 5th and 12th)?
    Yes, you can buy tickets without fees at the H-E-B Center (box office) anytime before the date of the event.
